3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

My mom used to make these all the time when I was a kid.  So much fun sharing them with my boys now!

Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg

Makes 15 Cookies

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
In a medium size bowl mix together peanut butter, sugar and egg with a spoon until combined.

Drop by heading spoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet.  I use two spoons.  One to scoop and the other to push the cookie dough off the spoon and onto the cookie sheet.  Use a fork to lightly flatten the dough.

Bake for about 12 minutes.  Allow to cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet before removing cookies with a spatula.

My boys love to put sprinkles on their cookies!

  1. Do you think these would work if I used Splenda instead? I'm trying to cut out some sugar along with wheat. I'm dying to try these. They look so yummy!

    1. A cup of Splenda will be really sweet. You will just half to try it. I would use half a cup and see what you think.

    2. Paula Deen uses one cup of Splenda in her recipe instead of sugar. I've never tried Splenda in these cookies. Please let me know if you try it and what you think!

    3. Please don't use splenda!! Use honey or maple syrup or coconut sugar!
